Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly colleagues, ensuring on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction. You will drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance while using data-driven insights to improve operations.

The role involves coordinating with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR, mentoring your team, and managing large-scale site projects. Training at an off-site location for 6+ weeks is required, with travel paid by Amazon.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
