Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers, including scheduling, route monitoring, and relationship management.
• Develop and mentor staff; participate in hiring, discipline, and policy enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws; supervise performance.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes and dispatch carriers.
• Identify inefficiencies, optimize routes, and train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and within established timeframes.
