Job summary

RXO seeks a Lead, Operations for Last Mile to coordinate with site leadership, support home delivery services, and drive day-to-day operations. You will guide a team to improve safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring efficient carrier and warehouse coordination.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on problem solving. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 12p-8:30p. RXO offers comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4 years of operations experience.
• 2 years of logistics or transportation, inventory control and merchandise reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork and provide daily support to a group of associates to ensure process efficiency.
• Leverage operational metrics to identify improvement areas and create actionable plans.
• Train material handlers to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Foster positive relationships with warehouse teams, carriers, and drivers.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Partner with Operations Manager to identify problem areas and restructure routes for efficiency.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers and warehouse personnel.
