Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Everett, WA to lead a team of hourly associates, driving safety, quality, attendance and performance while ensuring orders are delivered on time to the right locations.

You will collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives, mentor staff, and manage a workforce that adapts to busy, variable shifts and environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and weather
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
