Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees across our WW Operations network. You will engage the team to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to develop plans that meet business objectives. This role requires lifting, standing for long shifts, and working in variable conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise, including outside loading areas
