Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff, driving safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting delivery promises. You will work across first/middle/last mile workflows to ensure orders reach customers on time.

The role requires managing a diverse team, wearing many hats, and adapting to variable shifts, including nights and weekends. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment where the noise level can be loud and temperatures vary.
