Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees, driving safety, quality, attendance and performance. You will coordinate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives and deliver on-time customer orders.

You will be responsible for managing shifts, including weekends and overnight hours, while supporting a dynamic operation across multiple workflow stages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, with frequent bending and climbing.
• Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading and refrigerated areas.
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).
