Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operations Support Associate in Union City, CA, to assist with day-to-day dispatch operations for Last Mile delivery services. You will collaborate with delivery teams, carriers, and Macy's customers to ensure timely communication and compliant execution.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and meticulous documentation. Proficiency in MS Office and a customer-first mindset are essential. Schedule: Tue–Sat 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in customer service, operations support, admin, logistics, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, teams, and partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with data entry, records, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages with high customer service quality.
• Monitor daily delivery operations and track progress for on-time execution.
• Manage escalations with professionalism and urgency.
• Communicate delivery updates and operational issues to stakeholders.
