Job summary

RXO in Kent, WA is seeking a Specialist, Logistics to support order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. You will maintain customer profiles, monitor loads, and communicate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery.

Minimum 1 year of logistics experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required. General knowledge of the transportation industry and ability to produce routine reports are desirable. RXO offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, verbal or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on load status.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries; verify loads arrived on time and in good condition.
• Take call from drivers; ensure timely delivery and validate load data for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages and complete required documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept/decline loads per direction from account managers.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers.
