Job summary

RXO is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide end-to-end logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination across our North American network.

You will coordinate with railroads and carrier teams, monitor pickups and deliveries, verify data, and resolve delays to keep loads on schedule. A minimum of 1 year in logistics and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with railroads and carriers to plan, schedule, and track freight movements.
• Communicate with dispatch teams to ensure on-time movement of loads.
• Monitor daily pick-ups, interchanges, and deliveries and resolve delays.
• Answer driver check calls and verify load data prior to delivery.
• Investigate shortages, damages, and coordinate resolutions with carriers.
• Schedule carrier appointments and manage equipment availability and transit timelines.
• Provide routing instructions to drivers and coordinate interchange points.
• Track shipment status and address service disruptions with railroads and carriers.
