Job summary

RXO Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Logistics to provide logistics support including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. You will monitor loads, communicate with drivers, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining accurate load data.

At least 1 year of logistics experience and a high school diploma are required. Knowledge of the transportation industry and ability to write routine reports are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions written, verbal, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; inform receivers and customers of load status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify on-time and in good condition arrivals.
• Take check calls from drivers; ensure loads deliver on time and data is accurate for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages and document appropriately.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept/decline loads per guidance.
• Provide detailed routing directions to drivers.
