Amada America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas. You will install, service, and train users on Amada lasers and related equipment, troubleshoot electrical/control networks, and work with software applications.

The role requires reading drawings, traveling routinely, and maintaining service reports; English communication is essential, Spanish a plus; a 4-year Electronics degree or 2-year with related experience preferred.

Competenze

A 4-year degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2-year degree with related work experience preferred.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, control systems, and networks.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Willingness to travel routinely within assigned territories.
English communication required; Spanish a plus.

Mansioni

Install, service, and provide training for Amada lasers and other machinery.
Complete status and expense reports weekly.
Maintain customer relations and ensure smooth equipment installation and operation.
