Job summary

Amada America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with Laser Cutting Machines, with and without Automation. The role includes installation, service, and ongoing maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.

The position requires regular travel within the Northern California and Northern Nevada region, and close coordination with other departments. You will complete service reports, expense reports, and necessary technical documentation weekly, while maintaining

Qualifications

Experience with installation and service of Laser Cutting Machines (with or without Automation).
Regular travel to customer sites and coordinating with other departments as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Complete installation of laser cutting machines.
Follow up with departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Submit weekly service and expense reports and maintain technical documentation.
Maintain excellent customer and coworker relations.
Complete internal paperwork (urgent parts requests, purchase requisitions, etc.).
Travel regularly to customer sites.
Provide feedback to management on machine and customer issues.
