Job summary

HSG Tech Inc., the US arm of HSG Laser, seeks a Service Engineer to train, install and maintain high-power 6KW+ laser machinery in our Chicago showcase space and for US customers. You will report to the Service Manager in the US and travel as needed to complete installations and maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes effective problem solving, customer satisfaction, and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of working experience in related industry.
• Fiber laser experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of installation, debugging and maintenance of 6KW+ equipment.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide key objective management: proper machinery installation, proper accessory management, and understanding service data.
• Optimize work order organization, safe tool use, and customer data reporting.
• Demonstrate understanding of expense reimbursement documentation and customer service evaluations.
• Partner with internal Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and R&D teams to support stakeholder objectives.
• On-time completion of equipment installation, commissioning and maintenance tasks following safety and quality guidelines.
• Analyze and find root causes of maintenance impediments, debug system errors and propose improvements.
• Prepare trainings regarding technical processes and company regulation for staff.
• Conduct monthly customer visits for routine service maintenance and promote value-add services.
• Provide one-to-one training for new service team members.
