Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Intermediate-level project mobilization specialist to coordinate office moves, desktop deployments, and related IT infrastructure tasks in New York City and surrounding areas. You will gather inventory, track assets, and support deployment teams to ensure smooth transitions.

The role involves travel across the New York metro area, strong communication with stakeholders, and maintaining thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify priorities.
• Experience maintaining project documentation, inventories, trackers, and issue logs.
• Comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience supporting office moves, technology deployments, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable traveling regularly between locations throughout the New York metro area

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-move site surveys to verify locations and tech requirements.
• Gather and document desktop inventory and user needs.
• Reconcile discrepancies between plans and onsite conditions and communicate risks.
• Coordinate IMAC office move activities.
• Support deployment teams by organizing and tracking desktop equipment.
• Provide Day 1 and Day 2 support after moves.
• Track move-related issues to resolution.
• Maintain organized inventory and asset records.
• Update project trackers and reports.
• Collaborate with managers, deployment teams, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Travel to locations across NYC, Long Island, and Westchester.
