The role partners with external vendors, leads cross-functional strategies for belonging and health equity, administers language services, conducts research, and delivers training to sustain high-quality interpretation services.

Qualifications

• Three years translation or program management experience.
• Bachelor Degree required.
• Successful completion of a Medical Interpreter program.
• Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Partners with outside language services vendors to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Works cross functionally to create, implement and manage strategies, and programs in support of belonging and health equity as department goal.
• Coordinates the administration functions of language services program.
• Conducts research and analysis on methods for enhancing language services.
• Delivers education and training programs to promote and sustain language services.
