Qualifications

• 7 years of management experience in patient care or social services
• 5 years administrative or operational leadership experience
• 3 years recent experience in a leadership role
• Experience working in interpreter/translation service delivery
• Experience managing/coaching diverse staff
• Experience managing a diverse workforce and fostering a culturally diverse environment
• Experience leading in evaluation and adoption of new technologies to support service
• Experience planning and managing change initiatives within an organization
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• Experience with linguistically and culturally diverse patients and staff, including sensory loss

Responsibilities

• Lead Linguistic Services across Swedish Health Services system and Swedish Edmonds
• Plan, implement and evaluate interpretation and translation services for LEP and sensory‑impaired patients, families and staff
• Provide operational oversight for staff and contracted providers and state agencies
• Foster partnerships to ensure access to interpretation services in person, by phone and video
• Lead system‑wide activities promoting organizational cultural competence
• Identify patient communication issues and barriers; collaborate with resources
• Research and pursue grant opportunities to improve language access and regulatory compliance
