Addison Group in Oceanside, NY is hiring a Landscape Business Developer to drive new B2B sales in landscape installation and construction across a defined territory. You will cultivate relationships with developers, general contractors, and property leaders and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

The role requires 3–5 years in B2B outside sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a background in construction or landscape services.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven B2B outside sales success in related industries.
• Experience in construction, landscape installation, or property management preferred.
• Ability to close commercial contracts with strong negotiation.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation opportunities beyond maintenance.
• Develop customized proposals and presentations addressing client needs.
• Negotiate and close contracts per pricing standards and profitability goals.
• Build relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and key decision makers.
• Serve as primary contact during sales cycle and transition to operations.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations and PM teams on proposals.
• Review large-scale opportunities ($1M+) with senior leadership.
• Stay current on local market conditions and industry trends.
• Represent the company at trade associations and events.
• Maintain pipeline records in Salesforce.
• Work with leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategy.
