Job summary

Addison Group in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Landscape Business Developer to drive growth in landscape installation and construction across the Washington DC area. You will build a robust sales pipeline, craft tailored proposals, and close contracts with developers and general contractors.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience in construction or related services, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven B2B outside sales success in related industries.
• Proven ability to develop and close commercial contracts.
• Strong networking with developers, GCs, and property decision makers.
• Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM and MS Office.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals for landscape installation and construction.
• Develop proposals and presentations addressing client needs and company value.
• Negotiate and close contracts aligned with pricing standards and profitability.
• Maintain pipeline and manage relationships with property managers and developers.
• Coordinate with estimating, operations and project management on proposals.
