Job summary

Bay Insulation of North Carolina Inc is seeking a Machine Operator to support our laminating operation in our High Point facility. You will safely set up laminators and band saws, interpret work instructions, and help ensure products meet customer specifications.

The role emphasizes quality control, accurate production records, and efficient material flow. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are important in this hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Experience with fiberglass insulation, facing materials, or metal building insulation manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate laminators and band saws safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections and follow safety checklists.
• Set up machines, adjust glue tab alignment, and run speeds per instructions.
• Maintain production records and monitor waste and downtime.
• Support material staging, loading/unloading, and packaging of shipments.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
