Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) to lead technical engagements with customers, translating business needs into scalable data and AI solutions, and collaborating with GTM and account teams.

You will mentor clients on lakehouse architectures, design integrated OLTP to big data workflows across AWS/Azure/GCP, and drive adoption through workshops and compelling collateral.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in a highly coordinated, cross-functional effort across GTM and R&D teams.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
• Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
• As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and "champion," building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams
• Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments.
