Job summary

Databricks seeks a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) to lead technical engagement with clients, partner with GTM and account teams, and drive adoption of the Lakebase product line across regions.

You will translate field insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering, design high-impact engagement strategies, and enable clients at scale through workshops and collateral development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving high-level data strategy and product adoption.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in a highly coordinated, cross-functional effort across GTM and R&D teams.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
• Hands-on experience programming, debugging, and solving problems using SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
• As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and 'champion,' building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams
• Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments.
