Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) to partner with Account Executives to design and deliver strategies across assigned accounts, develop presentations, demos and assets to help clients adopt the Lakebase product line.

The role requires 6+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, strong SQL and Python, hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), and the ability to influence product roadmap with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) to drive customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
• As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and champion, building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments.
