Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) to lead engagement strategies across a regional territory, partnering with Account Executives to drive adoption of transactional data solutions within Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.

You will craft demos, presentations, and collateral, influencing product roadmap while ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments. Strong OLTP background and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of OLTP expertise with client-facing delivery.
• Credibility to influence OLTP products with market insight.
• Experience integrating transactional data with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
• Infrastructure, platform and admin expertise: DR, HA, backups, migrations, security.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design engagement strategies across your territory.
• Serve as a trusted Solutions Architect to drive product adoption and thought leadership.
• Develop customer-facing collateral and enable scale through workshops.
• Translate field insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges to ensure customer success.
