Job summary

• Performs CLIA waived laboratory testing under direct supervision and enters results into LIS.
• Completes work according to SOPs and prioritizes STAT/Emergency requests.
• Calibrates pipettes and thermometers and records data per SOPs.
• Prepares reagents/controls for testing and collects specimens for analysis.
• Participates in CSI and continuing education; assists in training new staff.
• Performs pending logs and proper disposal of specimens per guidelines.
