1046 Health Network Laboratories LLC seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to lead staff performing automated and manual clinical diagnostic tests, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance under the Manager/Director. The role includes 24/7 on‑call oversight, workflow optimization, and staff development.
Qualifications emphasize CLIA high complexity testing, analytical skills, and leadership. The position requires strong communication, safety focus, and proficiency with lab software and MS Office.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, with occasional weekend or holiday coverage based on operational needs. Schedule may vary. Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in collection, processing, and performing automated and manual clinical diagnostic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Serves as a technical resource for other technologists, technicians and support personnel. Provides logistical leadership and training to all team members. Works under the general supervision and the technical guidance of the Manager/Director.

Education/Experience: Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing (where applicable) and qualify as a general supervisor. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: Word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, designated laboratory software. Certificates and Licenses: Certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc.). Must actively demonstrate the pursuance of specialty certification in chosen field of clinical expertise.
