Job summary

TriCore, Inc., New Mexico’s largest laboratory, seeks a Laboratory Scientist at Kaseman Hospital. Under general supervision, you will perform waived to high complexity tests, operate and troubleshoot equipment, and perform QA to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA-based education requirements for Laboratory Scientist levels (LS I–IV).
• Minimum qualifications include degrees in biological/chemical sciences or laboratory science with related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived, moderate, or high complexity laboratory tests under supervision.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and performs QC/QA.
• Participates in training, regulatory inspections, and QA data collection.
• Supports POCT oversight and specimen processing as needed.
