Job summary

Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is currently accepting applications on a continuous basis to establish a pool for associate faculty assignments. Assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed.

The Sonoma County Junior College District does not offer remote-only assignments. Assignments are made on a part-time, hourly basis; the starting hourly rate is defined by the district salary schedules.

Qualifications

Requires minimum qualifications as listed: Bachelor's plus 2 years full-time related experience; OR Associate plus 6 years full-time related experience; OR equivalent; OR Credential in Business/Industrial Management.
Transcripts must show degree conferred if selected; official transcripts may be requested prior to employment.
Provide three professional references, including one from a supervisor.

On-site employment with proof of eligibility to work in the United States and successful background check.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments.
Provide academic assistance during scheduled office hours.
Demonstrate currency in field(s) of expertise.
Associate faculty focus on instruction and student services.
May be asked to perform district/department service tasks for additional compensation.
