Santa Rosa Junior College invites applications to establish a pool for associate faculty assignments. These positions are typically part-time, hourly, and on-call, with assignments that may be immediate or as needed. Note that remote-only assignments are not offered.

Assignments are made on a part-time, hourly basis with pro-rated sick leave and CalSTRS retirement options. Successful candidates will provide instruction across Social Sciences, with flexibility for evening, weekend, online or

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications exactly as listed: Master’s in Economics OR Bachelor’s in Economics and Master’s in Business/Business Admin/Business Management/Business Education/Finance or Political Science OR equivalent OR Life Cal CC Instructor’s Credential in Economics.
Equivalency documentation if applicable (transcripts, coursework, experience) per SRJC requirements.
Must demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of community college students.

Responsabilités

Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid/off-campus assignments.
Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours.
Maintain currency in field(s) of expertise.
Associate faculty focus on instruction and/or student services; additional compensated duties may be requested.
