Compensation varies by discipline, with initial step placement at Step 1 pending evaluation, and pay for classes assigned. Medical benefits, sick leave accrual, and CalSTRS retirement options are available to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years full‑time (or part‑time equivalent) related experience; OR an Associate's degree and six years full‑time (or part‑time equivalent) related experience; OR the equivalent; OR a fully satisfied (Life) CCC Instructor's Credential in Office Services and Related Technologies.
• Sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Ability to teach a variety of business courses as demonstrated by professional experience or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online or hybrid assignments.
• Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds of students, faculty and staff.
