Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Technical Coordinator I/II in Phoenix. This role supports day-to-day lab testing with a high level of technical knowledge and ensures compliance with CLIA, CAP, JCAHO, and OSHA standards.

The position involves supervising on-site workflows, quality systems, and staff development within the General Lab-Days-Ref Lab. The candidate will monitor quality control, assist with policy implementation, participate in process improvement

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with relevant lab training/experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in nonwaived testing (MLS or equivalent) for eligibility.
• Foreign-educated candidates require credential evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical leadership and workflow oversight on shift.
• Oversee quality control, QA policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in cost monitoring, inventory oversight, and efficiency projects.
• Assist with staff training, orientation, and competency assessments.
• Act as liaison to on-site management and System resources; promote teamwork.
