Job summary

N/A is seeking an experienced Lab Section Supervisor to oversee Medical Laboratory Assistants and Technicians. The role includes scheduling, purchasing supplies, and maintaining equipment inventory while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The supervisor will also evaluate staff performance and provide technical support, reporting to Laboratory Manager and Director of Laboratory Services as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or related science with formal training in Medical Technology.
• Active State of Florida Supervisor’s license in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Proficiency testing programs.
