Abcam, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Lab Support Technician to join the on-site team in Waltham, MA. You will perform essential lab support operations, including autoclave use, glass washing, buffer and media prep, and PPE stocking to keep daily lab activities running smoothly.

You will work with internal teams and vendors to coordinate support, maintain records, and uphold safety and compliance standards, reporting to the Lab Support Manager in the Workplace Team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hands-on experience in a lab, safety, facilities, or general workplace operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain clear records.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (email, calendars, spreadsheets, ticketing systems) and comfort in an on-site, customer-facing environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform core lab support operations, including autoclave use, glass washing, buffer and media preparation, and PPE stock maintenance.
• Support lab safety and compliance by managing chemical/biological waste and conducting routine inspections of safety equipment.
• Assist with equipment upkeep and service coordination, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support lab operations.
