Job summary

Avantor in Cambridge, MA seeks a Laboratory Technician to join our team focused on solvent inventory and general lab operations. You will assist with inventory control, receive shipments, and support daily lab workflows to enable timely scientific work.

The role requires 1–2 years of laboratory experience, attention to detail, and proficiency with SOPs. The position is on-site, with day shifts and opportunities to grow within the lab network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; science degree preferred.
• 1–2 years lab experience; relevant coursework considered.
• Familiarity with SOPs, safety rules, and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage solvent inventory via Inventory Manager and Coupa.
• Store solvents per SHE requirements and keep areas organized.
• Perform inventory scans and replenish stock to labs.
• Track solvent usage and prepare monthly reports.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with procedures.
