Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, is looking for a Production Associate to join the In-house Manufacturing team in Waltham, MA. This on-site role focuses on producing buffers, reagents, kit components, and intermediate solutions following Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs).

You will maintain batch documentation, adhere to QA and safety procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer demand and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or 2 years hands-on laboratory experience in a manufacturing, research, academic, or regulated lab environment.
• Strong laboratory experience, including safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, pipetting, and adherence to lab safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture buffers, reagents, kit components, and intermediate solutions according to Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs).
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and follow QA, Health & Safety, and manufacturing procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, SOP development, and changing production priorities to meet customer demand and delivery goals.
