The Lab Support Technician supports the daily operations of the Waltham site by providing hands‑on laboratory support services to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient lab environments. This role assists with routine lab activities, including autoclaving, glasswashing, buffer and media preparation, PPE restocking, waste handling, EHS support, and basic equipment upkeep. The technician works closely with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate support activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure labs are operationally ready. This position plays a key role in maintaining lab standards and contributing to consistent, reliable lab operations.
This position reports to the Lab Support Manager and is part of the Workplace Team located in Waltham, MA and will be an on‑site full‑time role.
Ability to reliably travel to the work site and arrive on time to support scheduled lab operations, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to perform physical tasks required for the role, including routinely lifting up to 15 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand and move throughout the workday based on operational needs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
