Job summary

Cambrex in Agawam, MA is seeking an LSS Technician I to support laboratory operations under GMP and SOP guidelines. You will clean glassware, perform autoclave prep, stock media, monitor inventory, and document activities clearly and accurately.

Cross-trained across Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, and CRS, you will learn equipment operation, pH calibration, and qualification processes while assisting team members in a regulated environment. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic GMP knowledge and SOP familiarity required.
• Ability to follow written procedures and perform basic math calculations.
• Knowledge of gowning procedures for cleanroom/regulated work.
• Strong documentation and data recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Washes glassware and ensures cleanliness and integrity.
• Maintains cleanliness of labs and storage areas.
• Performs autoclaving activities and prepares equipment for sterilization.
• Monitors and stocks media, PPE, and inventory; verifies expiration dates.
• Conducts in-house water sampling and pH calibration.
• Documents all LSS activities clearly and timely.
• Supports Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, and CRS labs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
