Abbott in Sturgis, MI is seeking a Lab Supervisor to oversee the Incoming Lab’s 3-shift operation. You will supervise 3–5 technicians, ensure timely sampling and testing of materials, and coordinate training and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma with 2+ years of lab experience in a regulated setting and demonstrated leadership. Preferred: Bachelor's in Science or Food Technology and GMP knowledge.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years' laboratory experience in a regulated industry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Computer skills (MS Office).
• Good oral and written communication; problem-solving.
• Time management and priority management.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise 3–5 technicians in incoming materials testing.
• Ensure timely receipt, sampling and testing of incoming materials.
• Assure completion of required training; train new hires in procedures and safety.
• Coordinate corrective actions and audits related to sanitation, GMP and compliance.
• Assist lab manager with budget planning and the department LRPs and long-range plans.
