Job summary

Abbott Nutrition division in Sturgis, MI is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) Technician to support GMP-compliant sampling in a production environment. You will perform aseptic EMP sampling and ensure accurate documentation while working with a team of technicians.

Qualifications

• GMP setting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling of Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) requirements.
• Apply GMP and aseptic technique to EMP samples (air, swabs, steam, water).
• Collaborate with technicians; maintain clear communication and reliability.
• Prioritize tasks and complete sampling at required frequencies.
• Maintain GMP compliance with FDA, OSHA, Abbott policies.
• Prepare tools and paperwork for sample collection.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties in the lab.
• Support Abbott's EHS program and compliance through active participation.
