Job summary

One Medical seeks a Flex Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist in downtown Seattle. You will perform venipuncture and clinical support, greet patients, manage schedules, and ensure smooth front-desk operations across multiple offices in a market.

Responsibilities include patient communication, charting, and assisting providers and virtual teams. Requires WA phlebotomy certification, 6+ months MA/Phlebotomist experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required to practice in WA.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant MA/Phlebotomist experience, outside of training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills across patient interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Experience working in diverse teams and collaborative settings.
• Ability to project confidence during collection and build trust with patients.
• Proven adaptability and willingness to respond to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Apply the C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture and related clinical support across patient age ranges.
• Assist with extended scope tasks (non-blood collection, EKGs, vitals, vaccines, etc.).
• Maintain high standards for specimen labeling, handling, and processing; oversee inventory and sterilization.
• Support members beyond the lab by handling messages, follow-ups, and clerical tasks for providers.
• Handle front-of-house duties including check-in/out and insurance verification.
• Contribute to team development through huddles and collaborative problem-solving.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain a welcoming front desk and lab area.
• Master the tech stack (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR, etc.) to communicate effectively.
