Job summary

Clean Earth, Inc. is seeking a Lab Pack Chemist to handle hazardous materials, perform onsite waste services, and coordinate field projects. The role requires a CDL with HazMat endorsement, OSHA HAZWOPER training, and the ability to lift heavy items while adhering to EPA/DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate College in general science or BS preferred.
• CDL with HazMat endorsement and clean record.
• Travel up to 20% overnight.
• Lift and move up to 55 lbs frequently.
• General chemistry/biology knowledge.
• EPA and DOT regulations knowledge.
• Minimum two years lab pack experience.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER; 8 hours DOT training.
• PPE training including respirators.
• 40 hours Depack experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous materials: inventory, identify, segregate, package per policy.
• Perform onsite services: waste collection, sampling, safety inspections.
• Prepare shipment of packaged waste; inspect, label and load.
• Maintain CDL with Hazmat to operate company vehicles.
• Complete shipping documents and regulatory paperwork.
• Lead lab pack field projects with multiple personnel.
• Support sales with estimates and scope for lab pack work.
• Mentor new employees and conduct site walks.
