Job summary

Clean Harbors in Logan, NJ is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist CDL (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste per regulations. This role works both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, and customer sites, assisting with lab packs and HHW collections.

This is a customer-facing position, with daily work at customer sites. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $24.00–$26.00, BOE, plus health benefits after 30 days, and 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role at customer sites daily
• Hazmat and tanker endorsement within 60 days of employment
• Handle chemical waste and lab packs as part of duties

Responsibilities

• Handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste
• Assist with lab packs at customer facilities
• Support HHW collections and lab moves
• Work at customer sites daily in indoor and outdoor environments
