Veolia is seeking a Lab Pack Chemist to manage hazardous waste materials, conduct on-site waste services, and ensure strict regulatory compliance. The role requires an associate degree in science, a clean driver’s license, and ability to travel, with CDL B training provided.

Responsibilities include documentation, packaging, labeling, and collaboration with internal teams. A CDL B must be obtained within six months; safety plans and DOT requirements apply.

Formación

• Associate degree in general science (BS preferred).
• Driver’s license with clean record.
• Moderate to extensive travel with 2% overnight travel.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials frequently >55 lbs.
• Basic understanding of chemistry or biology.
• CDL B within 6 months of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Handle hazardous materials: inventory, identify, segregate, and package waste per policies and regulations.
• Perform onsite services: waste collection, bulking, sampling, inspections.
• Assist other groups and prepare shipments of packaged waste.
• Complete shipping documents, LDRs, evaluations, and certifications.
• Obtain and maintain CDL B with Hazmat endorsement as required.
