Veolia is expanding its Clean Earth integration in North America and seeks a Lab Pack Chemist to handle hazardous waste materials, perform onsite waste services, and support regulatory documentation. Travel up to 20% overnight may be required. A CDL B with Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in general science is required; BS preferred.
• CDL B with Hazmat endorsement may be required within 6 months.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel up to 20% overnight.
• Ability to lift and move materials frequently over 55 lbs.
• Basic chemistry knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging per policy.
• Perform onsite services: waste collection, bulking, sampling, safety inspections.
• Assist other groups and prepare shipments with proper labeling and loading.
• Complete shipping papers and regulatory documentation accurately.
