Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a System Manager for Laboratory Support Services to lead staff across phlebotomy, processing, and customer service at Swedish and Northwest Community Hospitals. You will manage schedules, drive quality, and coordinate improvements in processes and instrumentation.

You will oversee budgeting, safety, and regulatory compliance while aligning goals with hospital objectives and vendor collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPR-BLS Certification from AHA required.
• 5+ years experience in a hospital setting.
• 1 year supervisory or leadership experience with phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee phlebotomy, specimen processing, and customer service staff to maintain high quality standards.
• Coordinate staff schedules and monitor turnaround times and quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve staff and patient service issues; document incidents.
• Develop departmental goals and budgets; plan for cost efficiency.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate vendor meetings and evaluate new instruments and methods.
• Ensure safety, infection control, regulatory compliance and staff training.
• Communicate policies; run departmental meetings and ensure policy adherence.
