Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a System Manager for Laboratory Support Services to lead specimen collection and processing workflows, supervise phlebotomy and customer service staff, and drive quality initiatives across the department.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree, CPR-BLS certification, and 5+ years hospital experience with 1 year in supervisory capacity. Strong leadership and operational budgeting skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- CPR-BLS certification from AHA required.
- 5+ years of hospital experience required.
- 1 year supervisory or leadership experience with phlebotomy required.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage workflows for specimen collection and processing, and related clerical responsibilities.
- Oversee daily work assignments of phlebotomy, specimen processing, and customer service staff to maintain high quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve issues with medical staff and customers, ensuring proper documentation.
- Develop departmental goals and initiatives with budgeting and cost monitoring.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and coordinate with vendors and leadership for improvements.
- Coordinate trainings, staff development, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
