Job summary

Samaritan Health Services in Oregon is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee operations at Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport and North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City. You will lead laboratory teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage personnel across sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating testing workflows for inpatient, ER, and outpatient specimens, and upholding CLIA and CAP standards while collaborating with clinical staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• ASCP, AMT or equivalent certified Medical Laboratory Scientist required.
• Five (5) years experience in a clinical role, two (2) years experience in a management role and knowledge of a managed care environment required.
• PCH Laboratory: Healthcare Provider Level BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory operations at Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport and North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City, including personnel management and regulatory compliance.
• May assist in direct clinical care as needed and appropriate.
• Ensure CLIA and CAP compliance and oversee lab testing for inpatients, ER, and outpatient specimens.
