Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Laboratory Operations Supervisor in Greensboro, NC to lead a team in a fast-paced reference laboratory. The role combines supervising Laboratory Technicians (60%) with individual contributor work (40%), including hands-on testing with automated analyzers and microscopes.

Qualifications

• Directly supervised 10+ employees in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Leadership experience in operations or related field required.
• Knowledge of clinical pathology testing areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology, Cytology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Laboratory Technicians across multiple clinical departments.
• Organize staff schedules and coordinate workflow.
• Oversee costs and metrics; monitor performance indicators.
• Coach and develop employees to reach business goals and potential.
• Operate automated analyzers and other diagnostic tools to support testing.
• Lead the lab and line of business as a business and people leader.
