IDEXX Greensboro, NC is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead a large, fast-paced veterinary diagnostic lab. You will manage managers and supervisors, drive budgets, and deliver key metrics for quality, delivery, and safety.

You will empower a diverse team, champion continuous improvement, and partner with senior leadership to align operations with company goals. This role is based in Greensboro with day shift expectations.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years overseeing or managing a large, fast-paced, high-volume environment across multiple shifts.
• Experience leading managers and supervisors, with a focus on performance, empowerment, and development.
• You are a change agent, preferably with Lean experience, in a Lean manufacturing/operations setting.
• You can adapt plans to address resources and global operational challenges.
• You have strong communication skills for senior leadership and direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct management and day-to-day operations of a core facility.
• Create, manage, and optimize budgets for the lab operations.
• Lead teams and drive key operating metrics for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Serve as a business and people leader for the lab and the line of business.
• Foster teamwork, innovation, and excellence in daily activities.
