Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Desktop Support professional for a 6‑month assignment in Olympia, WA. The role focuses on desktop and technical support for laboratory environments, including Windows administration, AD, and instrument-PC issues, with potential extension based on performance and budget.

The position requires strong Windows troubleshooting, AD skills, and experience with lab instruments; SCCM and ServiceNow are preferred. A referral bonus is offered after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have Windows Administration and Active Directory experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software is required.
• Experience with desktop/technical support and networking, including ticketing systems.
• Experience with lab instruments or computers connected to scientific equipment is preferred.
• Pharma/biotech or GMP/ISO/FDA environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and technical support to users in a laboratory environment.
• Troubleshoot Windows PCs, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support computers connected to laboratory instruments, including software upgrades.
• Perform Windows administration and Active Directory support.
• Collaborate with lab and IT teams to maintain instrument systems in a regulated environment.
